explosion-proof type motor
The increased safety explosion-proof type motor is safer than the general-purpose motor from the perspectives of structure and character. It is designed not to become an ignition source. The motor is used mainly in hazardous areas of Zone 2, such as chemical and other plants, where explosive gas is present. The product has its allowable locking time indicated on it. When the product is started, the protection relay needs to be set to operate within this time.
