About Gear motor (SF series)
The SF series is an oil-lubricated model for medium load. Made of selected materials with superb machining and heat treatment techniques, the gear reducer boasts a long service life and high efficiency. Its ideal gear engagement ensures quiet operation. It is equipped with the premium gold motor, which means this gear motor is compliant with the Top Runner standard.

Compliant with the Top Runner standard
It uses the premium gold motor, which means this gear motor is compliant with the Top Runner standard.
The motor can be expected to provide a significant energy-saving effect compared to standard efficiency motors.
Installation compatibility with the existing SF series is provided. The use of the output shaft keyway compliant with the new JIS standard allows easy key selection.
Replacement is easy because the reducer frame size is the same as before. Also, the output shaft keyway compliant with the new JIS standard (JIS B 1301) is used, allowing easy key selection.
(The motor-side dimensions are different as a result of making the motor more efficient. The keyway dimensions are also different since the existing SF series complies with the former JIS standard.

All models support inverter-driven constant torque operation within the range of 1:10 (6 to 60 Hz). At 50 Hz, 4-pole models of 15 kW or lower and 6-pole models of 11 kW or lower support constant torque operation within the range of 1:10 (5 to 50 Hz).
Toshiba's unique oil lubrication mechanism
The lubrication performance is enhanced by using Toshiba's unique dip lubrication method. Also, a large tilt angle can be used for installation.
